The 2006 Region 6 Conference was held March 3-5 in Madison, Wisconsin. Friday was the CAT course and a great Welcome Reception with fantastic hors d’oeuvres.

Saturday was a full day that started with the Region Meeting. We had sessions on Strategic Planning, Relationship Building for Better Fundraising, Newsletters, Desensitizing Your Horse, Driving, Behavioral Strategies, and Horse Conformation and Movement. Sunday wrapped up with the state meetings, a discussion of the field test standards and four forums:  AHA, EFMHA, Instructor, and Administrator. A heartfelt thank you to all of our speakers for sharing your time and talents with us!

We had our second annual Silent Auction held in conjunction with the conference. Many thanks to those who donated items and to all our bidders! The region earned $788.50 from this fun event.
