APPROVED TRAINING COURSES |
This method provides an opportunity to those instructors who would like to
attend an extended course that will teach them the basics of being a therapeutic
riding instructor, as well as achieve NARHA Registered or Advanced Level
Certification upon successful completion of the training course. In some cases
training courses may be offered through colleges or universities and may take
several months or years to complete. Instructors that are interested in the
Approved Training Course method may contact the Approved Training Course
directly to obtain information on course fees, schedules and entrance
requirements. A list of centers that offer these training courses can be found
by clicking on the “Approved Training Courses” below.
Please be advised that many NARHA Centers offer instructor training courses,
however they do not provide NARHA certification at the conclusion of the course,
unless they are listed by NARHA as a NARHA Approved Training Course.
